XUZHOU MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (MBBS & BDS)
KEY FEATURES:
- There are three campuses in XZMU, and now the second extension project of the Main Campus has been put into use. There are 36 affiliated hospitals and clinical schools (two under the direct administration of the college) with high-quality clinical teaching bases.
- XZMU enrolls around 17,000 students and employs 1,400 teachers. It offers 28 undergraduate specialties, covering major medical disciplines like Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Anesthesiology, Optometry, Medical Imageology, Stomatology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, and more. Clinical Medicine and Nursing programs are open to international students.
- XZMU has been recruiting MBBS international students since 2005, MD/MS students since 2012, PhD students since 2014, and Nursing students since 2016. It became the first HSK exam site in the Huaihai Economic Zone in 2012 and is authorized by China’s Ministry of Education to recruit international students.
- XZMU’s prime location and dedicated efforts have boosted international education, with teacher training abroad and expert-led lectures enhancing quality.
- XZMU hosts nearly 500 undergraduate and postgraduate students from 50 countries, supported by provincial and college scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BDS (1ST YEAR):
- XZMU Freshmen Scholarships (1st): 20% coverage (part of tuition), amount: 18,000 CNY.
- XZMU Freshmen Scholarships (2nd): 30% coverage (part of tuition), amount: 13,000 CNY.
- XZMU Freshmen Scholarships (3rd): 40% coverage (part of tuition), amount: 8,000 CNY.
Terms and Acknowledgement
Students will pay Registration Fee 400 RMB, Insurance 800 RMB, Residence Permit 400 RMB, Physical Examination 500 RMB and Books Charges (Approx.) Upon arrival to the relevant Department according to actual cost.
Special Notes:
- The application fee of 1500 RMB will be non-refundable after the issuance of the pre-admission letter.
- After receiving the pre-admission notice, a security deposit of 10,000 RMB will be paid. (which will be deducted from 1st year package).
- Management and service charges will be paid to the company responsible for Admission process.
- Students must clear the remaining 1st year fee before traveling to China. Hostel will not be provided in case of any due amount.
- Students will have to pay for Residence Permit, Physical Examination, Insurance, Books and other miscellaneous charges by themselves to the relevant departments according to the actual price.
- All fees once paid to the company or university will be neither refundable nor transferable.
- Students will bear the responsibility for the authenticity of documents.
- Students must follow all the rules and regulations (mentioned or not mentioned above) of the Public Republic of China, XZMU and the organization responsible for the admission process.
